#9 Tutorial | Designing and creating a sixteenth with Paint

Bookmaking tutorial | Create a sixteenth with Paint! Based on the information in Tutorial No. 8 “How to set a sixteenth on a classic A4 sheet,” the idea is to use the Paint program both as a challenge and as a basic option open to everyone for making a small booklet.

The International Research Center for Children’s Culture at the Braidense Library presents Libri Finti Clandestini, a mocking* collective formed by artists El Pacino (Milan, 1988-), Aniv Delarev (Pueblo Nuevo Solistahuacán, 1980-) and Yghor Kowalvsky (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, 1985-).
The aim of the collective is to make real books (sketchbooks, notebooks, travel journals, object books) using only “paper found around,” paper that people consider junk: printer’s scraps, proofs and starter papers, posters, envelopes, bread bags, wallpaper.

This material is assembled and bound by hand; the end result is a real book, ready to be written, drawn or to take on any other meaning the owner wants to give it. The collective is very active in creating contemporary artist’s books, and during this difficult time they offer tutorials online.
