Edizioni aldine
The collection includes about 650 editions published by Aldo Manuzio and his heirs from 1494 to 1598.
The library was established at the initiative of Braidense director Luigi Lamberti, who took over from Giuseppe Greatti in 1803, who had the aldine editions already in the library’s holdings brought together and acquired many others through the antiquarian market.
